Wells Classic Motorcycle Club was formed in the autumn of 2000 by a small group of friendly local riding enthusiasts with a shared interest in classic motorcycles.

The aim of the club is social riding, using a wide variety of machines.

Riding on Sundays, Tuesday evenings, and for the rich or retired amongst us, we have a few weekday runs. Guests riders are always welcome to join us.

Come along to our monthly Tuesday evening meeting to find out more about our club. Details of the date and location of our next meeting can be found on our Calendar page.

Saturday evening 26-10-2024 Wells Classic Motorcycle Club held its 24th Annual General Meeting,
Presentations and Social evening at Wells Football Club.

At the end of the meeting WCMC were joined by The Town Crier, Len Sweales, along with  some of the Marshals and Helpers from the 14th annual “Tortoise and Hare Run,” along with representatives from DSAA and EVS Freewheelers. Wells Town Crier presented the annual club awards to this year’s winners. Guests then joined with members to present Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance with another massive donation of £3250.00. “The Blood Bikes” also received a donation of £1000.00. These donations were from the clubs Tortoise and Hare fund. These large donations were made possible by the support that we again received from our sponsors and brochure advertisers, entrants fees and donations etc, along with much work by many club members to make the event possible and to whom we say a big thank you. To date we have donated over £37,000.00. to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance from these events, along with £3,550,00, to the EVS Freewheelers “Blood bikes”. The event regularly attracts entrants from various parts of the country to come and ride with us in some of our outstanding countryside. The event caters for Motorcycles and Scooters of all ages and is currently regarded by some as the best event in the West Country. For next year the date is provisionally set for the weekend of 18th-20th  July 2025.
WCMC were invited to the opening of Garage Six Coffee House at
Unit 6 The Sidings, Wells, Somerset. BA5 1LJ on October 2nd for their Open Day.

Chris Adrian and John went along for the ride and a number of members popped in.
Turning to the Cafe is nearly opposite Morrisons in Wells.
Thanks to Laura and Andy who run the coffee house.
